What's covered

- Improper installation, alteration, abuse, neglect or accidents
- Corrosion and normal wear
- Off-road damage (with some exceptions RCI decides case by case)
- Freight, labor, installation or downtime costs
- Hook marks from hanging parts for coating, unless the finish fails
How to make an RCI warranty claim
- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

This package gives the 2025-present 4Runner engine, transmission and transfer-case skid plates in steel or aluminum. It protects the front two cross-members, the low-hanging front differential, oil pan, transmission, second and third cross-members, exhaust cross pipe and transfer case, and it replaces weak, lightweight OEM skids with a stronger setup. Edges between cross-members are reinforced and bolt protector rings shield exposed bolts. Steel plates are black powder coated. Made in the USA.
Fitment
Verified on 4x4 TRD Off-Road non-hybrid models; other models are suspected to fit, pending confirmation. The transmission and transfer-case plates are not compatible with hybrid models. The engine plate requires a front crossmember below the radiator. The package will not work with the 2025+ OEM fuel tank skid, so buy the RCI 4Runner fuel tank skid for tank protection.
What's included
Engine skid plate with a steel standoff bracket and hardware kit, transmission skid plate with hardware, and transfer-case skid plate with a steel crossmember and hardware. Steel weighs 128 lb and aluminum 65 lb. Some photos show A-arm skid plates, which are not included.
Install notes
Direct bolt-on to factory attachment points with no drilling. Sections remove separately, and a built-in oil drain hole allows oil changes without removing the plate.

Does it fit the hybrid 4Runner?
No. The transmission and transfer-case plates are not compatible with hybrid models.
Can I keep the factory fuel tank skid?
No. The package will not work with the OEM fuel tank skid on 2025+ models; RCI sells a fuel tank skid.
Which trims are confirmed?
