What's covered

- Improper installation, alteration, abuse, neglect or accidents
- Corrosion and normal wear
- Off-road damage (with some exceptions RCI decides case by case)
- Freight, labor, installation or downtime costs
- Hook marks from hanging parts for coating, unless the finish fails
How to make an RCI warranty claim
- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

RCI offers this Ranger package in 3/16" steel for heavy-duty rock crawling or 1/4" aluminum for lighter use and camping trips. It includes a two-piece engine skid plate, a transmission skid plate with cross-members and a transfer-case skid plate. It protects the EPAS power steering unit, front differential, front cross-member, engine and engine bay, intercooler, sway bar disconnect where fitted, transmission, exhaust, oil pan and transfer case. It hugs the truck closely, so you do not give up much ground clearance. Made in the USA.
Steel weighs 124 lb and is black powder coated. Aluminum weighs 60 lb, runs about 2/3 the strength of the steel, and needs no paint.
Fitment
2024-present Ford Ranger 4x4. It may not be compatible with all 4"+ lift kits.
What's included
Engine (two piece), transmission with cross-members and transfer-case skid plates, the transfer-case crossmember (always 3/16" steel, black powder coated) and a hardware kit.
Install notes
Direct bolt-on to existing factory attachment points with no drilling. Oil pan drain plug access without removing the plate.

Steel or aluminum?
Steel is the heavy-duty option at 124 lb. Aluminum is 60 lb and about 2/3 the strength of the steel.
Can I change oil with the plates on?
Yes, you have access to the oil pan drain plug without removing the skid plate.
Will it fit with a lift?
It may not work with all 4"+ lift kits.
