The expensive parts of a Tundra or Sequoia hang low and mostly uncovered: the front differential, steering unit, oil pan, transmission and transfer case. This RCI package covers both zones with two plates, an engine skid and a transmission/transfer-case skid. They are meant to be tougher than the factory plates and to cover more area, whether you already have OEM skids or nothing at all.
You pick the material for each plate. 10 gauge steel is the all-purpose choice and the better value, at about 76 lbs for the package, and it ships with a black powdercoat. 1/4" 5052 aluminum comes in around 48 lbs, resists rust and corrosion without paint, and keeps its strength through the extra thickness. Either way the underside is smooth and flat with no exposed bolt heads, so the plate slides over obstacles instead of catching on them.
Fitment
2022 and newer 4x4 Tundra and 2023 and newer Sequoia. The transmission/transfer-case plate is offered in Hybrid and Non-Hybrid versions, and a 2023+ Sequoia must choose Hybrid. It is not compatible with 4"+ drop-bracket lift kits (1-3" coilover lifts such as the Toytec Boss are fine) or with sway bar drops. It works alongside RCI Tundra catalytic converter guards, which are sold separately.
What's included
One engine skid plate, one transmission/transfer-case skid plate, all hardware and installation instructions.
Install notes
Both plates bolt to existing factory attachment points with no drilling. The engine plate mounts to the radiator cross-member without interfering with aftermarket bumpers or a hidden winch, and it leaves the power-actuated lower air dam alone. The two-piece engine plate comes off with basic hand tools, and an access door gives you the oil filter with two bolts.

Does this fit the Sequoia?
Yes, 2023 and newer Sequoia. A 2023+ Sequoia must select the Hybrid transmission plate option.
Will it work with a lift kit?
It works with 1-3" coilover lifts such as the Toytec Boss. It is not compatible with 4"+ drop-bracket lift kits or with sway bar drops.
Do I need to drill anything?
No. Both plates bolt to existing factory attachment points, and all hardware and instructions are provided.
Are catalytic converter guards included?
No. Some photos show RCI's optional cat guards, which are sold separately. The transmission plate is compatible with them.
