What's covered

- Improper installation, alteration, abuse, neglect or accidents
- Corrosion and normal wear
- Off-road damage (with some exceptions RCI decides case by case)
- Freight, labor, installation or downtime costs
- Hook marks from hanging parts for coating, unless the finish fails
How to make an RCI warranty claim
- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

This RCI package replaces the thin factory skid plates on a 2015-2022 Colorado with engine, transmission and transfer-case plates in your choice of laser-cut 3/16" steel or 1/4" aluminum. It protects the front two cross-members, the low-hanging front differential, oil pan, transmission, the second and third cross-members, the exhaust cross pipe and the transfer case. Edges between cross-members are reinforced, bolt protector rings shield exposed bolts, and the surfaces are smooth and flat. RCI includes its latest, strongest transmission skid plate design. Made in the USA.
Fitment
All 2015-2022 Colorado 4x4 models, including the ZR2. Fitment is not verified on 2WD, and it does not fit diesel models.
What's included
The engine, transmission and transfer-case skid plates with hardware. Material and finish are chosen per plate when you order: laser-cut steel or 1/4" 5052 aluminum. Steel plates are black powder coated. The package weighs 112 lb in steel and 49 lb in aluminum.
Install notes
Direct bolt-on to existing factory attachment points, no drilling. Easy DIY installation, and a built-in oil drain hole allows oil changes without removing the plate.

Does it fit the ZR2?
Yes, it is compatible with ZR2 models.
What about diesel or 2WD?
It does not fit diesel models, and fitment is not verified on 2WD.
Steel or aluminum?
Steel is 3/16" and black powder coated at 112 lb; aluminum is 1/4" 5052 at 49 lb. You can choose per plate.
Do I need to drill?
No.
