A Tacoma's rocker panels are easy to dent and costly to repair, and these RCI sliders move that risk to the frame. A full-length frame support plate with bolts along its length ties each slider into the frame, so impacts are absorbed there rather than in the body. They can still serve as a side step.
The main tube is 2" square with 1.75" DOM outer rails as standard, 1/4" gussets on all four legs and a full-length 3/16" frame plate. The main tube ends are mitered at 45 degrees to follow the body and avoid hang-ups, the standard angle is 20 degrees, and the rear has RCI's low profile kick-out. RCI says they can support the whole side of the truck for hi-lift lifting or sliding on rock. These are made in Loveland, Colorado.
Options
20 degrees is standard and 5 degrees is available; RCI recommends 5 degrees if you add the tread plate. Pick satin black powdercoat over epoxy primer or bare metal, with or without the bolt-on dimpled tread plate for a better step surface and extra shielding from tire throw.
Fitment
Fits 2005-2015 4WD Access Cab and Double Cab Tacomas in the short bed configuration. The long bed has its own listing.

Install notes
Direct bolt-on to existing mounting locations with no drilling, using basic hand tools. Hardware is included, grade 5 and 8 where applicable.

Which angle should I choose?
