The rear differential is one of the lowest, most exposed drivetrain parts on a JLU. This RCI skid plate clamps directly to the axle housing and hugs the differential within 1/4", so it adds protection with minimal impact on ground clearance. Integrated drain holes let water and debris escape, and you can reach the differential drain plug without removing the guard. It has clearances for a pan hard correction bracket, and a heavy duty black powder coat protects the finish.
It installs in minutes with basic tools, uses the existing factory attachment points, and ships at about 22 lbs. It is made in the USA and in stock.
Fitment
2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler JLU. Confirmed on the JLU Rubicon with the Dana 44 rear axle. RCI suspects it fits the 392, Diesel, 4xe and Sport with a Dana 44 rear axle, and also the JL and 2020+ Gladiator with a Dana 44 rear axle. It does not fit with the Rock Krawler rear suspension system.
