- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

This RCI rear bumper for the 3rd generation Tacoma builds the hitch receiver into the bumper, which lifts the lowest point at the back of the truck. RCI says that improves ground clearance by over 4 inches and gives a clear improvement in departure angle.
The frame mounts and receiver structure use 1/4" heavy-duty steel, and 1/2" shackle mounts run through the shell and weld directly to the frame plates. Most factory electronics still work, including the trailer plug, backup sensors and license plate lights, although it does not work with blind spot monitoring. The built-in receiver is not rated for towing, but RCI says the bumper has been tested to tow comparably to the OEM capacities. There are holes for Rigid SRQ backup lights, with covers for the cutouts included. It weighs 85 lb, about 20 lb more than the OEM bumper with hitch. The finish is a satin black textured powdercoat. Built in the USA.
Options
Choose satin black powdercoat or bare metal. A license plate bracket is not included, and there are many options available.
