This RCI rear bumper for the 2005-2015 Tacoma builds the hitch receiver into the bumper itself, which raises the lowest point at the back of the truck. RCI says that improves ground clearance by over 4 inches and noticeably improves departure angle.
The frame mounts and receiver structure use 1/4" heavy-duty steel, and 1/2" shackle mounts run through the bumper shell and weld directly to the frame mounts. The built-in receiver includes a flip-up license plate bracket mount; the bracket itself is not included, and there are many options available. Most factory electronics still work, including the trailer plug and license plate lights, and there are holes for Rigid SRQ backup lights with covers included for the cutouts. It weighs 75 lb, only about 20 lb more than the OEM bumper with hitch. The finish is a satin black textured powdercoat over epoxy primer. Built in the USA.
