- Hook marks from hanging parts for coating, unless the finish fails

- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

These adapters let certain tonneau covers work with RCI's Sport and HD bed racks and bed bars. They raise the rack by 3 inches so a cover can run underneath, and they add tie-down slots so you can still secure cargo in the bed or on top of the cover. The kit comes with four or six brackets depending on your rack or bar model, finished in a heavy-duty two-stage black powdercoat.
The cover has to suit the setup. They are compatible with many hard or soft roll-up covers and retractable covers that do not have integrated T-slot rails. Some tri-fold and quad-fold hard covers also work, but only as a static cover: the folding panels hit the rack legs, so the cover cannot open. Optional holes let you bolt through the bed cap, though most installs do not need them.
Fitment
Pick the bed length that matches your truck: 5 ft (46"), 5 ft 6 in (52") or 6 ft+ (58"). They are for RCI Sport and HD bed racks, and RCI's compatibility guide, last revised 2/3/2022, lists most covers as compatible on all trucks. Known incompatible covers include the Jeep Mopar soft tri-fold on the Gladiator, the 2016+ Tacoma hard tri-fold, and the Truxedo Deuce. BAKFlip Revolver X4 and X45 are not compatible with 2005-2015 Tacomas. Several soft and retractable covers need supplemental weatherstrip.
Important
These adapters are a standalone mounting option. RCI's C-clamps and Toyota mounting adapters are not compatible with them. The vendor lists them as in stock. Because the compatibility list keeps changing, check your cover with us before ordering.

Which tonneau covers work?
Many hard or soft roll-up and retractable covers without T-slot rails are listed as compatible. Some need supplemental weatherstrip, and the Truxedo Deuce is listed as incompatible.
Can I open a folding cover?
Certain tri-fold and quad-fold covers fit, but only as a static cover, since the folding panels hit the rack legs.
Can I use them with RCI C-clamps?
No. The adapters are a standalone mounting option and RCI C-clamps or Toyota mounting adapters are not compatible.
Do I have to drill the bed cap?
Optional holes allow bolting through the bed cap, but most applications do not need it.
