- Improper installation, alteration, abuse, neglect or accidents
- Corrosion and normal wear
- Off-road damage (with some exceptions RCI decides case by case)
- Freight, labor, installation or downtime costs
- Hook marks from hanging parts for coating, unless the finish fails

- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

If you want to run an RCI fuel tank skid plate on a 2019-2023 Ford Ranger that did not come with the off-road package, you need these straps first. They are OEM Ford fuel tank straps with threaded studs added, so the skid plate bolts straight onto them.
Do you need them?
Trucks with the off-road package already have OEM fuel tank straps designed to take the skid plate, so you do not need this kit. Trucks without it do.
