What's covered
- Defects in material and craftsmanship on the part's structure, for as long as the original purchaser owns it
- Powder coat that peels, bubbles or shows light areas within 180 days, as determined by RCI

- Improper installation, alteration, abuse, neglect or accidents
- Corrosion and normal wear
- Off-road damage (with some exceptions RCI decides case by case)
- Freight, labor, installation or downtime costs
- Hook marks from hanging parts for coating, unless the finish fails
How to make an RCI warranty claim
- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

A punctured fuel tank can leave you stranded and cost hundreds of dollars to fix. This RCI skid plate protects the tank on the 2015-2022 Colorado. It is laser cut and CNC formed for a clean fit. The 10 gauge steel version cuts weight by 30% compared with 3/16" steel while keeping a strong balance of protection and puncture resistance. A 3/16" 5052 aluminum version cuts weight by nearly 50%.
Finish options are satin black powdercoat or bare metal on the aluminum. It is a bolt-on install using the provided hardware and takes minutes. It is made in the USA and in stock.
Fitment
2015-2022 Chevy Colorado. RCI suspects it fits the 2015-2022 GMC Canyon short bed and suspects it does not fit crew cab long bed models, but neither is confirmed.

Does it fit crew cab long beds?

Do I need to drill?
The install is completely bolt-on using the provided hardware.
