This RCI Offroad engine skid plate guards the front end of the 4th generation Tacoma: the front two crossmembers, the front differential and the oil pan. It is CNC laser cut from 3/16" steel or 1/4" aluminum, with reinforced edges between the crossmembers and center mounting points that carry load in either material. Bolt protector rings shield exposed fasteners, and the smooth underside is meant to slide over obstacles.
Oil changes do not require pulling it, thanks to service openings. Black powdercoat is available for a rust-resistant finish. Made in the USA. Some finishes and items are made to order and ship on a lead time; RCI posts current lead times on its site.
Fitment
Made for the 2024 and newer Tacoma. RCI has verified fit on 4x4 TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro models. Installation needs the front crossmember below the radiator. Trims that do not have the factory front crossmember, such as TRD Sport, Limited and SR5, need an additional crossmember before this plate can be mounted.

The engine skid plate, a standoff bracket (always powdercoated steel) and a hardware kit.
Install notes
Direct bolt-on to factory mounting points with basic tools and no drilling. Weight is 51 lbs in steel and 21 lbs in aluminum.

Does it fit every 2024+ Tacoma?
It is verified on 4x4 TRD Off-Road and TRD Pro models. Trims without the factory front crossmember, like TRD Sport, Limited and SR5, need an additional crossmember.
Can I change my oil with the plate on?
Yes. It has service openings for maintenance and oil changes without removal.
Is drilling required?
No. It bolts to factory mounting points.
