This RCI front skid plate covers the critical hardware under the nose of a 2019-present Silverado 1500: the EPAS power steering unit, front differential, engine oil pan and cross-member. RCI says it provides significantly more coverage than the OEM plates.
It uses seven mounting points for rigidity, and the two-piece design lets you remove sections during maintenance. The flat, snag-free surface slides over rocks and obstacles.
Fitment
Designed for 2019-present Silverado 1500 4x4. Fitment is confirmed on the 6.2L, 5.3L, 2024 2.7L and 3.0L Duramax. The factory air dam must be removed for installation, and the plate is not compatible with 4" or taller lift kits.
Options
Steel in 10 gauge with a powdercoat finish, or 1/4" aluminum that is rust-proof and lighter. Aluminum comes bare or in satin black powdercoat.
Install notes
It bolts directly to factory mounting points with basic tools and no drilling. Hardware and instructions are included. Made in the USA.
