- Improper installation, alteration, abuse, neglect or accidents
- Corrosion and normal wear
- Off-road damage (with some exceptions RCI decides case by case)
- Freight, labor, installation or downtime costs
- Hook marks from hanging parts for coating, unless the finish fails

- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

A pair of CNC laser-cut 3/16-inch steel skids for the transmission crossmember mounts. They have a smooth, flat face for sliding over obstacles, bolt to existing factory points and go on in minutes. They work with or without the RCI transmission skid plate. The pair weighs 8 lb (4 lb each).
On a lifted or lowered truck with aftermarket shocks, the lower mounts can sit differently than stock. That is the reason RCI recommends confirming fitment if you run a specific suspension. The kit is small, light and simple, which makes it an easy upgrade to pair with a differential skid.

Listed for the 2021-present Ford Bronco and the 2024-present Ford Ranger. Important: not all Bronco models have factory-installed crossmembers, so verify that yours does before buying.
