What's covered
- Defects in material and craftsmanship on the part's structure, for as long as the original purchaser owns it
- Powder coat that peels, bubbles or shows light areas within 180 days, as determined by RCI
- RCI repairs or replaces the part at its discretion after inspecting it
What's not covered
- Improper installation, alteration, abuse, neglect or accidents
- Corrosion and normal wear
- Off-road damage (with some exceptions RCI decides case by case)
- Freight, labor, installation or downtime costs
- Hook marks from hanging parts for coating, unless the finish fails
How to make an RCI warranty claim
- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

The RCI 2" Hitch Skid is a low-profile guard that fills a 2-inch receiver and does three jobs: it protects the hitch area on the trail, doubles as a step, and gives you a 3/4" recovery point. The body is strong 3/16" walled tube and it accepts 5/8" hitch pins. RCI builds it in the USA, and it is made to order.
It is a simple part, but a handy one if your rear approach angle or hitch height tends to scrape on ledges, or if you want a hard point at the back without a full bumper.
Fitment
Built for 2" receivers. RCI confirms fit on the RCI Tacoma Rear Arapaho, Toyota 4Runner 2010-2023 and 2024+, Toyota Tacoma 2005-2023, Toyota Tundra 2022+, Chevy Silverado 1999-2007 and 2014-2018, Chevy Colorado 2015-2022, Ram ProMaster 2014-2023, Ford Bronco 2021+ and Subaru Forester 2009-2013. It is suspected to fit many other 2" receivers. It is confirmed not to fit the 2019-2023 Ford Ranger.

Tacoma 2005-2023, 4Runner 2010 and newer, Tundra 2022+, Silverado 1999-2007 and 2014-2018, Colorado 2015-2022, Ram ProMaster 2014-2023, Bronco 2021+ and Forester 2009-2013, plus the RCI Tacoma Rear Arapaho bumper.
Does it fit the 2019-2023 Ranger?
No. RCI confirms it does not fit the Ford Ranger 2019-2023.
Will it fit other trucks with a 2" receiver?
It is suspected to fit other 2" receivers but only the vehicles listed are confirmed.
