- Write a description of the damage and take clear photos
- Include a copy of the original invoice
- RCI inspects the part and decides whether to repair or replace it

The 12" HD Bed Rack is RCI's best-selling rack, and this version is aluminum. It uses three cross-members across the bed, which spreads load evenly over the bed rails and gives the highest weight capacity of RCI's adjustable racks. The aluminum build weighs 68 lbs against 95 lbs for the steel version, and it uses .190" heavy duty aluminum with 14 gauge steel telescoping top braces.
It stands 12" above the bed rail, which keeps the load below the roofline for decent rear visibility and less drag with a roof top tent. Slotted mounting points on top accept nearly any roof top tent, and built-in mounting points take lights, a Hi-Lift, fire extinguisher, spare tire, RotoPax and similar gear. Two top braces are included.
Fitment
Adjustable to any truck bed with 55.25" to 64" between the bed rails, from a Chevy Colorado to a Dodge 3500. Pick a bed length (5 ft / 46", 5 ft 6 in / 52", or the longer option) and a mounting option: adapter kits for 2005-2015 Tacoma, 2016-2023 Tacoma, 2024+ Tacoma, 07+ Tundra and Jeep Gladiator, and 22+ Nissan Frontier (for beds with an accessory rail), universal drill-free C-clamps, or none.
Capacity
RCI tested it in-house to about 1500 lbs static but recommends roughly 750 lbs as a working benchmark for parked loads. Use your own judgment when loading it heavily.
Install notes
Bolts to the inside of the bed rails, or use the drill-free clamps. Assembly takes about 45 minutes and all hardware is included.

Will it fit my truck?
It adjusts to any bed 55.25" to 64" wide between the rails, from a Colorado to a 3500. Choose the bed length that matches your truck.
Do I need to drill?
It bolts to the inside of the bed rails, or you can pick the universal drill-free C-clamps. These clamps are not compatible with the RCI Tonneau Adapter kit.
Can it carry a roof top tent?
Yes. It is designed to take roof top tents, and RCI suggests about 750 lbs as a static capacity benchmark.
How long does install take?
About 45 minutes, with all hardware included.
