Vendor warranty summary

Peak Suspension Warranty

At a glance: Limited lifetime on Peak-made parts for defects; 1 year on Peak shocks; springs, bushings and heim joints are wear items

This is Peak Suspension's warranty, not an NVMOS policy. We've summarized it in plain English to save you a search. The manufacturer's official terms always govern and can change without notice. Last reviewed on nvmos.com: October 28, 2026.

Coverage by product

Product or component Coverage
Products manufactured by Peak Suspension (control arms, trailing arms, spacers, lift blocks, brackets and similar hard parts) Limited lifetime
Peak shock absorbers and coilovers 1 year, manufacturer defects
Coil springs, leaf springs, bushings and heim joints Wear items, not covered when worn

What's covered

  • Defects in material and workmanship on Peak-manufactured products
  • Coverage for the original retail purchaser, on the vehicle the part was first installed on
  • Shocks that fail from a manufacturing defect in the first year (Peak inspects, then services or replaces)
  • Remedy is repair or replacement, at Peak's discretion

What's not covered

  • Normal wear on springs, bushings, heim joints and shocks
  • Finish and corrosion, alterations or modifications, abuse, misuse or improper installation
  • Parts showing off-road abuse, or used for racing, rallying or commercial use
  • Vehicles loaded past the manufacturer's GVWR, or parts installed on vehicles they weren't made for
  • Removal and reinstall labor, and all shipping costs on warranty parts
  • Products sold outside the United States and Canada

How to make a Peak Suspension warranty claim

  • Peak expects installs to be done by a qualified mechanic experienced with suspension work; keep your install receipt
  • Photograph the issue and gather your order details before removing anything
  • Failed shocks get shipped to Peak for inspection; if Peak finds the failure wasn't a defect (neglect, install damage and so on), the owner pays for service, parts and shipping
  • Shipping to and from Peak on warranty claims is the purchaser's cost

The Peak Suspension 2.0 Aluminum Series Trek Kit | 15-22 Colorado/Canyon is a Peak Suspension part built for 2015-2022 Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyon. Peak designs and machines its suspension in the USA, and this piece is made for the platform rather than adapted from something generic.

The Peak 2.0 Aluminum Series is the more approachable step into Peak's coilover lineup: 2.0" adjustable aluminum front coilovers and matched rear shocks, hard anodized for corrosion resistance, with vehicle-specific valving. Depending on the kit level you pick, Peak adds rear lift (blocks, springs or an add-a-leaf) and its tubular upper control arms to correct geometry once the front is raised. It is a good fit if you want real ride-quality gains and some lift without stepping up to remote-reservoir shocks.

What you get and key features

  • (2) Peak 2.0 Front Coilovers
  • (2) Peak 2.0 Rear Shocks
  • Peak Tubular Upper Control Arms
  • 15-22 Chevy Colorado (excluding ZR2)
  • 15-22 GMC Canyon
  • 0-3" Adjustable front lift height shocks, 0-1" Capable rear shocks
  • Increased droop over stock suspension
  • Durable hard anodizing for lasting finish in harsh environments that is tested to ASTM B117 salt spray standards
  • Manufactured and Assembled in America
  • Direct Bolt-On Fitment
  • Improved On and Off-Road Ride Quality
  • Adjustable Ride Height from 0-2.5"

Fitment

Fits 2015-2022 Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyon. Peak's notes: 15-22 Chevy Colorado (excluding ZR2). Not sure about your trim or drivetrain? Ask before you order.

Install notes

Plan on a professional alignment after install. If your kit includes upper control arms, install them at the same time as the coilovers so you only pay for one alignment.

Lead time and shipping

Peak works to keep its coilovers in stock, but when a kit is sold out, Peak's coilover production runs can take up to 8 weeks. Call or text us at (920) 249-7744 and we'll check current stock with Peak before you order. Peak ships direct from its shop, and its advice is a good one: don't book your install until the parts are in hand and you've checked the boxes.

Warranty

Peak covers the parts it manufactures with a limited lifetime warranty against defects for the original purchaser; Peak shocks carry one year, and springs, bushings and heim joints are wear items. Read the Peak Suspension warranty summary for details.

Do I need an alignment after installing this?

Yes. Any change to ride height or control arm geometry moves your alignment, so book a professional alignment right after install.

Do I need a differential drop?

Peak recommends a differential drop on non-ZR2 Colorado and Canyon trucks lifted more than about 2 inches, and on ZR2s lifted more than about 1.5 inches, to keep CV angles in check.

Peak works to keep its coilovers in stock. When a kit is sold out, Peak says coilover production runs can take up to 8 weeks. Call or text us at (920) 249-7744 and we will check current stock before you order, and wait until the parts arrive before you book an install appointment.
