The Method 105 is a beadlock wheel built for people who spend more time off pavement than on it. Method says it shows up on everything from overland rigs to extreme rock crawlers, which tells you the intended use: low pressures, rough ground and a wheel that keeps the tire seated.
It is a beadlock, so expect a ring of hardware to maintain, in exchange for the ability to run very low tire pressures without the bead letting go. Method also publishes a brake fitment technical drawing for the 105, which is worth pulling up before you order.
Fitment
It comes in 17x8.5 with a 0 mm offset (4.75 inch backspacing) in 5x5.5, 6x135, 6x5.5 and 8x6.5, and in 17x9 with a -38 mm offset (3.5 inch backspacing) in 5x4.5, 5x5, 6x5.5 and 8x6.5. Method lists the wheel by size, bolt pattern and offset rather than by vehicle, so match the bolt pattern to your hubs and confirm tire, brake and suspension clearance for your build.
Questions before you order?
Fitment questions are easier to settle before the box ships. Call or text Carl & Anton at (920) 249-7744 or use the chat — real humans in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, not a call center.
Specifications
Method Race Wheels 105 Beadlock Wheel FAQs
Is this wheel vehicle specific?
No. Method lists it by size, bolt pattern and offset. Match the bolt pattern to your hubs, then check tire size and brake clearance.
Does it clear my brakes?
Method publishes a brake fitment technical drawing for the 105. Check it against your caliper and rotor before ordering.
Is it a true beadlock?
Yes, the 105 is sold as a beadlock wheel, which means it uses a clamping ring and hardware to hold the tire bead.
