The Method 103 is the beadlock wheel for people who race, or build as if they do. Method points to trophy trucks driven by top pros as proof of where it lives, and describes it as a wheel that holds up on the road and off it. If your use is Baja-style desert running, this is the type of wheel the line was designed around.
It is offered in a raw machined finish across two diameters, with several bolt patterns and a few specific drilling options. Some listings are marked Race Drill and one 6x6.5 version is marked Heavy Duty; the source does not explain what those mean beyond the labels, so ask before ordering if the distinction matters for your build.
Fitment
Available as 15x8 with a -24 mm offset (3.5 inch backspacing) in 5x5.5 and 6x5.5, and as 17x9 with a -12 mm offset (4.5 inch backspacing) in 5x5.5, 6x5.5, 6x6.5, 8x6.5 and 8x170. Method lists wheels by size, bolt pattern and offset rather than by vehicle, and publishes brake fitment technical drawings for the 103, so check those against your calipers.
Questions before you order?
Fitment questions are easier to settle before the box ships. Call or text Carl & Anton at (920) 249-7744 or use the chat — real humans in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, not a call center.
Specifications
Method Race Wheels 103 Beadlock Wheel FAQs
Is this wheel vehicle specific?
No. Method lists it by size, bolt pattern and offset. Match the bolt pattern to your hubs and check brake and tire clearance.
What do Race Drill and Heavy Duty mean?
The listing uses those labels on certain variants but does not explain them further. Contact us if the difference matters for your application.
Does it clear my brakes?
Method publishes brake fitment technical drawings for the 103 in 15x8 and 17x9. Compare them with your caliper and rotor.
Is this the buggy wheel?
No. This is the 103 beadlock for trucks. The 103 Buggy uses a 5x205 pattern and is a separate product.
