About the brand
ICECO builds 12V portable fridge/freezers for trucks, Jeeps, SUVs and vans, plus the slides and insulated covers that go with them. Most of the lineup runs SECOP compressors, the same compressor brand found in fridges that cost far more, and ICECO backs them with a 5-year compressor warranty and a tech team in Southern California.
Based in: Brea, California · Compressor: SECOP on most models · Lead time: In-stock orders usually leave ICECO in 1-2 business days, then 3-7 days ground; ask us about any item

The ICECO APL20 is a 20-liter (21-quart) single-zone 12V fridge/freezer in an aluminum body, built for setups where space and weight both count: a Jeep cargo area, a seat delete, a smaller SUV, or a weekend of biking or boating. At 22.9 pounds, moving it from the truck to camp is not a project.
Why it works
- Real freezer range: a SECOP compressor holds anywhere from -4°F to 68°F, so it can run as a true freezer or as a fridge.
- Quiet: rated at 32 dB or less, which is quiet enough to sleep next to.
- Light: 22.9 pounds, thanks to the aluminum construction.
- Two finishes: black or silver aluminum.
The trade-off
It is a single-zone box, so it runs as a fridge or a freezer at any given time, not both. If you want frozen and fresh food in one unit, the dual-zone APL35 is the next step up.
Pair it with
The ICECO APL20 Insulated Protective Cover is made for this fridge and adds insulation, weather protection and organizer pockets.
Warranty and shipping
ICECO backs the compressor for 5 years and the fridge for 1 year, with tech support based in California. It ships direct from ICECO, usually within 1–2 business days.
