The DV8 Offroad Xtract 9.5K is a mid-capacity winch with an aluminum housing over heavy-duty steel internals. It is rated to pull 9,500 lb and spools 80 feet of 3/8-inch synthetic line, which is enough reach for most recoveries while keeping the unit lighter and more compact than DV8's 12K model. If your rig does not need the biggest winch on the market, that size and weight saving is the point.
Control is covered two ways: a wireless receiver is built in and works out to 150 feet, and a 12-foot wired remote is in the box for close work, with no extra adapters to buy. The solenoid box can be relocated, which helps when an aftermarket bumper leaves a tight winch pocket. An easy-release clutch lets you free-spool line quickly, a 5-foot chafe guard protects the rope where it takes the most abuse, and an aluminum hawse fairlead is included.
Fitment
Universal fit using a 10 x 4.5-inch mounting bolt pattern. Confirm your bumper or winch plate uses that pattern before ordering.

Will it fit my winch plate or bumper?
It uses a standard 10 x 4.5-inch mounting bolt pattern. If your bumper or plate uses that pattern, it will bolt up, and the relocatable solenoid box helps in tight mounts.
Do I need to buy a fairlead or remote?
No. An aluminum hawse fairlead, a built-in wireless remote receiver with remote, and a 12-foot wired remote are included.
How far can I be from the winch with the wireless remote?
Up to 150 feet.
How hard is the install?
It needs to be wired to your battery, and the whole job takes about 90 minutes. Mounting hardware is included.
