The front trailing arm mounts on a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK hang low and take a beating on rocky trails. These DV8 Offroad skid plates bolt over them to absorb strikes before they can tweak a mount, and the angled leading edge helps the Jeep slide up and over a rock instead of catching on it.
Why it works
- Protects a known weak spot: the plates take the hit instead of the factory trailing arm mounts.
- Angled leading edge: built to slide over obstacles rather than hang up on them.
- 3mm and 5mm steel: plate thickness where it is needed.
- Follows the frame: shaped to the factory frame lines, so it looks like part of the Jeep and does not hang any lower than it needs to.
