DV8 Offroad Heat Dispersion Hood — Jeep Wrangler JK (2007–2018)
Rock crawling keeps engine speed up and vehicle speed down, which is exactly when under-hood heat builds. This stamped steel hood opens up airflow out of the engine compartment to bring that heat down.
It ships in a paintable protective finish with the under-hood insulated lining included. That finish is a rust inhibitor, not a final coat, so plan on prep and paint before it goes on the Jeep for good.

Do I have to paint it?

DV8 strongly recommends professional installation, covering prep, fitting, seam sealer and painting, for the best fit.
