The B.O.T.C.K. (Bolt-On TrackBar Correction Kit) from Dr. KDSS is for lifted first-generation Toyota Sequoias whose track bar has gone steep. Once the body is raised, a steep bar makes the axle shift side to side through its travel instead of moving straight up and down, and the rear end feels vague. The kit raises the axle-side pivot so the bar sits closer to level, which restores predictable tracking on the road and the trail. It bolts on, with no welding.
Because it mounts to the factory location instead of depending on welds, the kit spreads load across the OEM mount.
Fitment
The vendor lists this kit for the first-generation Toyota Sequoia. Standard-height brackets can contact the frame at full suspension cycle, and a Shorty bracket is not offered for every model.
Picking standard or Shorty
Park on level ground and measure from the ground to the center of the frame-side track bar bolt, then to the center of the axle-side bolt. Subtract the two. A difference of 1.5 to 2.99 inches points to the Shorty version, or the bottom hole on the Standard bracket. A difference of 3 inches or more points to the Standard version and its top hole. If you may lift higher later, Standard leaves more mounting options.
Install notes
Torque is 105 ft-lbs at the factory bolt location and 125 ft-lbs on the remaining bolts. Put blue Loctite on all bolts and nuts; if you use red, use very little. Hardware is now standard hex nuts instead of flange nuts.
