The Dirtbox Overland Canopy Camper is built around the INEOS Quartermaster pickup. It replaces the open bed with a sealed aluminum enclosure and a rooftop sleeping system, so the truck keeps working as a truck while gaining a place to sleep and a place to put gear.
The structure is reinforced aluminum extrusion with precision TIG-welded components, heavy-duty hinges and weather-sealed gullwing doors. The tent latches are CNC-machined billet, and the design aims for quiet, no-rattle travel on rough roads. Dirtbox says it draws on more than 20 years of building expedition vehicles, from custom Unimog builds to modern overland trucks.
Integrated T-track and L-track give you mounting points for recovery gear, camp equipment, MOLLE panels, awnings and storage systems, so the layout can change from trip to trip. Lighting and power are built in: dimmable gullwing-door lighting, rear lighting, USB-A, USB-C and 12V connections. The sleeping area has a high-density memory foam mattress as standard, an insulated roof and built-in ventilation.
