The Chunk Release Base is the fixed half of Dirtbox's tool-free quick-release system. The vendor says it is CNC-machined and engineered and made in the USA. It pairs with the Chunk Quick-Release Bracket so you can attach or remove gear like a 270 degree awning or a side-hanging water tank without tools.
You can install multiple bases on either side of a Dirtbox canopy camper or topper and move gear to suit terrain, season or layout. With bases on both sides, the vendor says a 270 degree awning can move in under 30 seconds to follow sun or wind. A tank can be repositioned to catch sun, or moved inside the camper on the internal T-track in winter, since Dirtbox canopy campers have full-length T-tracks inside and out. Three bases on one side can support both an awning and a tank, by using two for the awning and then clipping the tank into the same locations.
Fitment
