This Coupler Cork is a machined aluminum plug that closes off an unused female air coupler until you are ready to connect a hose. Onboard air systems sit where dirt, mud, dust, sand and water are part of the job, and an open quick-connect lets all of it in. The plug snaps into a compatible coupler the way the mating air fitting would, which helps keep contaminants away from the internal components.
CMM Offroad CNC machines it in the USA from 6061-T6 aluminum as the standard choice, or 7075-T6 if you want substantially higher strength in the same compact design. Every plug is Cerakote finished, and a stainless steel split-ring retainer comes with it so the plug can be tethered near the coupler rather than dropped and forgotten.
Fitment
It fits 1/4 inch Industrial couplers, ISO 6150 Series B, Fed Spec A-A-59439, also known as B-Style. These are the 1/4 inch quick-connect female couplers commonly found on onboard air systems running 3/8 inch hose. Automotive 1/4 inch Tru-Flate (T-Style) couplers use a different plug profile and are not interchangeable, so those need the Automotive Coupler Cork instead.
Where it works
Couplers mounted on bumpers, underhood air systems, compressor installs, air tanks, manifolds, exterior air connection points and shop equipment.
