These Clayton Off Road front coil springs target the 4.5-inch suspension height on the Jeep Wrangler JL with the 392 V8. They are made in the USA and finished in black powder coat.
The 392 puts a big V8 over the front axle, so a front spring that holds its height under that load matters more than on other JLs. Clayton Off Road says the taller spring design adds capacity without making the ride stiff, which is what you want once a steel bumper and winch are hanging off the front.
Free length is 20.75 inches and the spring rate is 210 lb/in.
Clayton Off Road lists these springs for both daily driving and off-road use, with a smooth, comfortable ride as the goal. Each spring is labeled with its own part number, so it is easy to check the box against what you ordered. If you are mixing them with other lift parts, tell us your vehicle details and we will sanity check the combination.
