Tailgate theft takes under a minute and needs no tools: drop the gate, lift it off the hinge, walk away. The Tailgate Theft Protector from Cali Raised LED is a vehicle-specific lock for the 2015-2022 Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon that blocks that lift-off point.
It is laser-cut from 304 stainless steel and left uncoated on purpose. Stainless holds up to rain, road salt and trail abuse without paint or powder coat, and with no finish there is nothing to chip, scratch or peel. It is manufactured in-house by Cali Raised LED in Fort Worth, Texas, and backed by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The tailgate keeps opening, closing and latching the way it always has.
Fitment
Fits the 2015-2022 Chevy Colorado in Base, WT, LT, Z71 and ZR2, and the GMC Canyon in SL, Base, SLE, SLT, AT4 and Denali.
What's included
The vendor does not itemize the contents. It mounts using hardware already on the truck.
Install notes
It mounts to the truck bed using hardware already on the truck, so there are no new holes and nothing permanent to undo if you sell it. No drilling or cutting.
Questions before you order?
Fitment questions are easier to settle before the box ships. Call or text Carl & Anton at (920) 249-7744 or use the chat — real humans in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, not a call center.
