Catalytic converter theft is a quick job for a thief with a saw, and this shield is built to make it a slower one. It is made from 12-gauge 304 brushed stainless steel and covers both the driver and passenger sides of the GX 550.
Stainless gives you good corrosion resistance and long life in harsh climates, and it resists cutting and forced removal better than a coated mild steel shield. Each piece is laser cut and CNC bent for exact mounting alignment, and the shield keeps factory ground clearance. It comes in bare brushed stainless only, with no coating options.
