This top plate kit is a collaboration between AluBox and Goose Gear. It gives the lid of your Alu-Box a flat, tough surface, so the box can double as a step or a camp table instead of just being something you dig through.

The plate is coated on all sides in bed liner, which is a sensible finish for something that will get stepped on, set down on dirt and loaded with gear. The mounting hardware is stainless steel, so it is not the weak point when the weather turns.

Fitment

The kit is offered by Alubox size, and you pick the one that matches your box. The options are 134L; 42L, 60L and 73L together; 67L, 155L and 175L together; 74L, 120L, 157L and 240L together; and 38L and 81L together. Choose the variant for your box size before you order.

Install notes

Installation only requires drilling four holes into your Alu-Box. That is a permanent modification to the lid, so mark it carefully and be sure of your placement before you start.

It is a simple bolt-on project, and the result is a box that works harder at camp.
