The AJT Design Injection Fob IF031 is a replacement two-piece case for the Ram 2500 key fob, here in Army Green. It is injection molded from PC-ABS, a high-strength, impact-resistant plastic, and it replaces the case that came with the truck. Rather than snapping shut, it bolts together with socket head cap screws, a more rugged and straightforward approach that you can undo again with the supplied allen key. It is made in the USA.
Fitment
Listed for the 2019-2024 Ram 2500. The vendor's typical-applications note extends to 2014-2024 Ram 2500, so judge by the fob itself as much as the model year. AJT asks you to confirm that your fob looks like the one in its instruction video and compatible photos before ordering.
What's included
The case and a 3/32 inch allen key, with the screws in the finish you select at checkout. Your existing electronics and battery are reused and are not included. They get packaged into the new case.
Install notes
Assembly takes the 3/32 inch allen key. Do not use threadlocker such as Loctite on this product. There is no reprogramming, since the existing electronics carry over. The emergency or valet key does not insert into the new case.
