The Injection Fob IF030 is a replacement shell for the factory key fob case on the 2023-and-newer Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon. It is a two-piece case molded from impact-resistant PC-ABS plastic, and this listing is the gray version. Instead of snapping together around the seam like the stock case, it closes with socket head cap screws, so the halves are held by hardware and not by a clip that can wear out.
Your existing fob electronics and battery move into the new case and nothing needs reprogramming. The electronics and battery are not included with the case. You pick the screw finish at checkout: black oxide stainless, standard stainless, or red, green, blue or purple anodized aluminum.
Fitment
Fits the 2023+ Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. Check that your fob matches the one in the vendor's instruction video and compatibility photos before ordering. It is not compatible with the Silverado, Sierra, Suburban, Tahoe or Yukon. The emergency/valet key does not insert into the new case, so it will need to travel separately.
What's included
The two-piece case, screws in the finish you select, and the 3/32" allen key needed for assembly.
Install notes
Move the existing electronics and battery into the case, then bolt the halves together with the included 3/32" allen key. Do not use threadlocker such as Loctite on this product.
