AEV Splash Guards for 2022+ Chevrolet Silverado ZR2
Heavy-Duty Protection Without Compromising Trail Capability
Larger tires can provide a major advantage off road, but they can also throw more mud, gravel, snow and road debris along the side of your truck. AEV Splash Guards are engineered specifically for 2022+ Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 models to provide substantial tire coverage while maintaining the clearance and flexibility an off-road truck demands.
Rather than extending into the wheel opening, the AEV Splash Guards are intentionally positioned outside the wheel well, preserving clearance for oversized tires up to 35 inches. The result is effective debris protection without crowding the tire or unnecessarily limiting articulation and usable clearance.
Whether you are protecting the side of your truck on a gravel road, managing mud and slush during daily driving or adding the coverage required by certain state or local regulations, AEV Splash Guards provide an integrated solution engineered around the truck—not adapted from a universal mud flap.
Built to Flex Off Road
Traditional rigid splash guards can become a liability when they encounter rocks, brush or other trail obstacles. AEV takes a different approach.
Each splash guard is manufactured from heavy-duty, 1/2-inch-thick compression-molded rubber. The material is substantial enough to provide meaningful coverage behind the tire while remaining flexible enough to deflect when it contacts rocks or obstacles on the trail.
Instead of transferring the full impact into a rigid plastic guard or mounting point, the rubber can flex and return to position, making it better suited for vehicles that regularly transition between pavement and technical terrain.
Serious Coverage for Larger Tires
Oversized and wider tires can project significantly more debris beyond the factory wheel opening. AEV Splash Guards provide additional coverage behind the tire to help reduce the amount of mud, stones, gravel, snow and road debris thrown toward the truck body, trailers or surrounding vehicles.
This added coverage can also be important in states or municipalities that require splash guards or mud flaps when tire coverage extends beyond the factory bodywork. While owners should always verify the regulations that apply in their area, AEV Splash Guards provide a durable, vehicle-specific way to add coverage without compromising the truck's off-road-focused configuration.
Mounted Like an Engineered Component
AEV Splash Guards are supported by 3mm steel mounting brackets that attach securely to the body of the truck rather than relying solely on flexible wheel-liner material.
The brackets are zinc coated and e-coated for additional corrosion resistance, creating a durable mounting structure designed for long-term exposure to dirt, water, road salt and trail conditions.
The combination of substantial rubber guards and steel mounting hardware gives the system considerably more structure than a lightweight accessory-style mud flap.
Designed Around the Silverado ZR2
These kits are engineered specifically around the proportions, tire-clearance requirements and design language of the Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 platform, including the ZR2 Bison.
That vehicle-specific approach allows the Splash Guards to integrate naturally with the truck while providing the additional clearance required for larger tires.
They can also be installed on certain other applicable Silverado configurations, although additional trimming may be required.
A Natural Extension of an AEV-Equipped Silverado
AEV develops components as part of a complete vehicle system, and these Splash Guards are designed to look and function at home alongside the broader range of AEV components available for the Silverado.
Whether your truck is equipped with AEV wheels, bumpers or other accessories, the Splash Guards provide another layer of functional protection while maintaining the integrated, purpose-built appearance expected from an AEV-equipped vehicle.
The rear guards also feature an AEV logo formed directly into the rubber, with an optional rear reflector available for customers who want additional rearward visibility.
