However, for many enthusiasts, the desire for maximum performance and a commanding presence leads to considering larger tires, specifically moving up to a 35″ size. These larger tires not only enhance ground clearance for tackling tougher obstacles but also contribute significantly to the truck’s aggressive stance. Without the proper tire clearance kit, though, fitting 35″ tires can cause clearance issues that limit performance and reliability off-road. The challenge arises because the factory setup of the AT4X, while capable, wasn’t specifically engineered to accommodate the full range of motion required by 35″ tires.
