AEV (American Expedition Vehicles) Warranty
At a glance: Limited lifetime parts warranty for the original purchaser against material and manufacturing defects; finish defects get one year
This is AEV's warranty, not an NVMOS policy. We've summarized it in plain English to save you a search. The manufacturer's official terms always govern and can change without notice. Last reviewed on nvmos.com: October 27, 2026.

| Product or component | Coverage |
|---|---|

What's covered
- Material and manufacturing defects in AEV accessories
- Original purchaser only, with proof of purchase
- AEV may repair the part, replace it, or reimburse the purchase price, at its discretion
What's not covered
- Second owners
- Labor to diagnose, remove or install parts
- Abuse, misuse, modification, improper installation or poor maintenance
- Vehicles used in racing, competition or commercial activity
- Trail and weather finish damage such as rock chips, scratches, sap, salt and sun
- Incidental costs, damage to non-AEV parts, counterfeit parts, and shipping back to AEV
How to make an AEV warranty claim
- Gather your proof of purchase and photos of the defect
- Contact AEV's warranty department to get a return merchandise authorization (RMA)
- AEV usually asks for the part back for inspection; if a replacement ships first, AEV may charge for it and refund once the defect is confirmed

AEV Kinetic Recovery Straps
AEV's 30-foot vehicle kinetic recovery tow strap is a robust recovery tool, perfectly suited for freeing a vehicle that is stuck in deep mud, sand, snow, or silt. Unlike a traditional tow chain, which can recoil dangerously if it snaps or breaks loose, this nylon web sling will stretch under load, using its own kinetic energy to help dislodge the stuck vehicle.
AEV is dedicated to bringing more safety and continuity to the recovery gear that 4WD enthusiasts around the world rely on to get out of these potentially hazardous or life threatening situations and this is the only vehicle kinetic recovery tow strap in the aftermarket that complies with industrial rigging standards. To further maximize the service life of this kinetic recovery strap, a unique edge guard was added for improved protection against cuts and abrasion. Investing in durable and versatile gear ensures peace of mind and emergency preparedness, allowing drivers to confidently navigate off-road adventures and assist others in need.
Universal fit. Check the details above for mounting requirements.
