Bottom surface area on S&B Tank is larger, the 60-gallon tank will have a greater fuel reserve.
According to the Ford TSB 17-0046. Truck's with build date prior to 3-20-17. Replace the fuel Level Sender Resistor Card Assembly with Ford part # HC3Z-9A299-N.
Tanks made prior to 1/1/2024, won't fit 2023+ HO models due to fuel line going to the DPF.

Nearly double the range
This 60-gallon tank directly replaces the OEM 34-gallon tank with no cutting, drilling or special modifications. It holds 5 more gallons than competitor tanks.
Free distance-to-empty recalibration
S&B offers a free service to update your truck's computer so Distance to Empty shows the correct range on 2011-2022 Ford trucks. For 2023+ Super Duty trucks, use TI1532-00.
Reuses the factory skid plate
Unlike some competitor tanks, the S&B tank lets you reuse the factory skid plate if you have one. S&B also makes a smaller factory-style skid plate to cover the front of the larger tank.
Works with aftermarket lift pumps
S&B tanks work with OEM and aftermarket lift pumps. Aftermarket pumps like FASS and AirDog struggle at 1/4 tank, but the S&B sending unit lets you run to empty, plug and play, with no changes to the OEM tank or sending unit.
