DV8 Offroad Rear Shock and Link Skid Plates for 2024+ Tacoma and 4Runner
On the 4th Gen Tacoma and 6th Gen 4Runner the lower rear shock mount and link hang low enough to take hits on ledges. These 4mm steel guards cover them to prevent rock rash and bent or broken shocks.
Each guard is one piece with a drain hole at its lowest point so water, mud and sand do not collect. They bolt on with factory hardware and work with most aftermarket shocks; DV8 has verified fit with OEM and Eibach shocks.

Do I need wheel spacers?
If you run factory wheels, DV8 says a 1/2-inch wheel spacer may be needed.
Will they fit aftermarket shocks?
They are compatible with most aftermarket shocks. DV8 has verified fit with OEM and Eibach shocks.
Do they fit the TRD Pro or Trailhunter?
They fit the Tacoma Trailhunter. Fitment is unconfirmed for the Tacoma TRD Pro and the 4Runner TRD Pro and Trailhunter.
Will they trap mud?
Each guard has a drain hole at its lowest point to let water, dirt and sand out.
