Why it works
Kit breakdown
Included: Track Rod Relocation Bracket (105017), Adjustable Track Rod (105065), Sway Bar Relocation Kit (105029), 2" Bump Stop Drops (101365), Adjustable Coil Levelers (105020), Radius Arm Drops (105070), Billet Radius Arms (101433), Limit Strap Kit (105048), Dual Stabilizer Kit (101534 + KI9016-00 x 2). Optional: Torxz Traction Control Bars (102102), Shock Packages (105074/106700/106702), Coil Springs (105104).
Track rod bracket and adjustable track rod
The 105077 bracket corrects the frame-side mount for 2.5" to 5.5" lifts when used with the adjustable track rod. It's 3/8" steel, powder coated black, and S&B tested almost 20 revisions to perfect it. The track rod adjusts in the truck via jam nuts for easy alignment and uses an OEM Ford ball joint and bushing, so it's serviceable with common parts and isolates vibration better than comparable Teflon joints.
Radius arm drops, 105070 (included)
Radius arm drops are required for any leveling or lift kit. The 105070 drops correct the mounting position for 2.5" lifts, with 4 attachment points per bracket for a secure frame mount.
Billet aluminum radius arms (101433)
Machined from billet 6061 aluminum, these arms are strong and light and clear tires better than factory arms thanks to an angled design. Adjustable caster cam bolts give full caster control, and a tab accepts the 105048 limit strap kit some shock packages require.
12" limit strap kit (105048)
Required for any shock package whose extended length would let the spring go loose. The straps bolt to the S&B radius arm and a frame bracket, using tab bolts and a pull-through kit, with no welding.
Sway bar relocation (105029)
Required for front lifts over 2.5". The brackets let you move the sway bar front to rear for tire clearance at full lock, and new longer end links are included. You keep the factory bar's performance and payload capacity with more travel.
Dual steering stabilizer kit (101534)
The bracket fits all F-450 trucks at any lift height and mounts two FOX IFP 11.1" travel stabilizers, which are included. It's all 1/4" steel and bolts to the axle with heavy-duty 5/8" U-bolts so it won't flex under load. Billet aluminum clamps attach the stabilizers to the tie rod.
Adjustable levelers, 105020 (included)
The levelers give 2.5 inches of adjustment, from factory spring perch height to a 2.5" lift, and S&B recommends them alone for 0-2.5" of lift. Add an S&B coil spring kit for more, and they work with all OEM coils and aftermarket springs that fit factory insulators.
Bump stop drops (101365)
These brackets lower the OEM bump stops by 2".
Torxz traction control bars (optional)
Torxz bars control axle wrap so you can brake and accelerate harder without wheel hop on a leaf-sprung solid axle. They keep pinion angle steady through the travel. They're the only bars on the market with urethane bushings on both ends, and they don't restrict travel or shock-load the frame.
Three shock packages (optional)
Keep the comfortable OEM shocks up front with 105074 extensions, step up to Steady Valve 2.5" FOX IFP shocks valved in house by S&B, or go with the FOX 2.5" Performance Elite system, adjustable for high- and low-speed compression. A reservoir bracket hangs the FOX reservoir above the coil spring.
Optional coil springs
The included adjustable levelers give up to 2.5" of front lift on factory coils. For more without moving to the 3.5"-5.5" kit, the optional springs give about 3" on a standard truck and about 2" on a Tremor, with a slightly softer-than-stock rate.
