ICON Alloys Alpha Wheel, 20x9, 8x6.5, Gunmetal
The ICON Alloys Alpha is an aluminum alloy wheel built to look right on the street and work properly off it, with dimensions chosen around suspension travel and steering rather than looks alone. It is meant for Jeep, truck and SUV builds, and it pairs naturally with an ICON suspension system.
This listing is the 20x9 Gunmetal version in an 8x6.5 bolt pattern with a 19mm offset and 5.75 in of backspacing.
| Spec | Detail |
|---|---|
| Model | ICON Alloys Alpha |
| Size | 20 x 9 in |
| Bolt pattern | 8x6.5 |
| Offset | 19mm |
| Backspacing | 5.75 in |
| Finish | Gunmetal |
| Construction | Aluminum alloy |
| Design focus | Maximized caliper clearance; wheel position optimized for suspension travel and steering |
| Dimensions | Application-specific backspace and offset to reduce scrub radius |
| Intended use | Jeep, truck and SUV builds, on-road and off-road |
| Installation note | Professional mounting and balancing of an appropriately sized tire recommended before installation |
What is the Alpha made of?
ICON builds the Alpha from aluminum alloy, chosen for strength that suits off-road use while keeping unsprung weight and rotating mass down.
Why does the backspace matter on this wheel?
ICON sets the Alpha's backspace and offset to reduce scrub radius and keep the wheel clear of suspension and steering parts, which improves handling and ride quality, particularly with an ICON suspension.
Should I have the tires mounted before installing?
Yes. ICON recommends professional mounting and balancing of an appropriately sized tire before the wheel goes on the vehicle.
Will this wheel fit my vehicle?
This version uses an 8x6.5 bolt pattern, 19mm offset and 5.75 in of backspacing. The bolt pattern has to match your hub, and offset and backspacing decide where the wheel sits against the suspension and fender. Use the vehicle finder or call (920) 249-7744 with your year, make, model and lift height and we will confirm fitment.
