About Rugged Ridge

Rugged Ridge began in 2005 as the accessory brand of Omix, a Jeep parts company founded in 1992 by an owner who grew up in the Jeep business. Omix joined RealTruck in October 2017, and Rugged Ridge is now one of RealTruck's brands. The company says it has designed and manufactured more than 3,000 products, several of them patented, including floor liners, a snorkel and modular bumpers.

The catalog is Jeep first and wide rather than narrow: armor and bumpers, tops and doors, interior trim and storage, lighting, suspension and drivetrain parts, and replacement parts that reach back to the YJ and TJ. It is a practical one-stop brand when a Jeep needs a long list of small parts as well as the big ones.

What we carry from Rugged Ridge

We carry Rugged Ridge XHD and other steel bumpers, corner guards and rock rails, soft tops and doors, all-terrain floor liners and cargo liners, dash trim and A-pillar switch pods, seat covers and seats, fender flares, light bars, light mounts and guards, car and cab covers, and interior storage. Nearly all of it fits the Jeep Wrangler YJ, TJ, JK and JL and the Gladiator JT, with a small number of parts for Ram and other trucks.

How to choose

Confirm the Jeep generation: Rugged Ridge builds most parts for a single Wrangler generation, and some split further by 2-door and 4-door or by early and late JK years. Match YJ, TJ, JK, JL or JT and the door count before ordering.

Floor liners have the long warranty: Rugged Ridge floor liners are covered for as long as the original buyer owns the vehicle, compared with five years on most other parts. They are an easy first purchase for a Jeep that sees mud and snow.

Expect some trail wear to be on you: The warranty excludes impacts from rocks, trees and other obstacles, plus finish scratches and normal wear. Armor and bumpers are meant to take hits; touch-up paint is part of owning them.

Check left or right-hand drive: Interior parts like A-pillar switch pods come in separate LHD and RHD versions. Confirm which side the steering wheel is on before ordering, especially on imported or right-hand-drive Jeeps.

Lead times & shipping

NVMOS dropships Rugged Ridge. In-stock parts ship in 1-3 business days, and parts stocked at the manufacturer take about 1-2 weeks. Small trim, liners and lighting ship by parcel; steel bumpers and other large items can ship by truck freight, which needs someone to receive and inspect the delivery. Note any shipping damage on the delivery receipt, since the warranty excludes it.

Rugged Ridge warranty

Rugged Ridge products are covered by the Omix-ADA limited warranty, which covers defects in material and workmanship for five years from the initial retail purchase on products first sold in the US and installed and used according to the instructions. It is limited to the original buyer and does not transfer. Rugged Ridge floor liners are covered for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle they were installed in. Some lines, such as winches, wheels, ORV suspension and Alloy USA axles and gears, carry their own terms. Omix-ADA may repair, replace or refund after inspection; removal, shipping and installation, wear, finish scratches, shipping damage and impacts from trail obstacles are excluded.
