About Pedal Commander

Pedal Commander plugs in between your gas pedal and its factory harness and remaps the throttle signal, so the engine responds when you press the pedal instead of a beat later.

To be clear about what it isn't: it doesn't add horsepower and doesn't reflash the ECU. You pick from Eco, City, Sport and Sport+ modes, each with nine sensitivity levels, using the in-cab unit or a Bluetooth app. The company is based in Camarillo, California, and builds its units in Türkiye.

What we carry from Pedal Commander

Vehicle-specific throttle response controllers, each with an OEM-style harness for its application.

We stock units for the Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner, Tundra, Sequoia, Land Cruiser, FJ Cruiser and RAV4; Ford F-150, Raptor, Ford Bronco, Bronco Sport, Ranger and Super Duty; Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator; Chevy Silverado and Colorado; GMC Sierra and Canyon; RAM trucks; Subaru Outback, Forester and Crosstrek; and Lexus GX and LX. If you want actual power gains, that's a job for programmers and tuners instead.

How to choose

There's really one decision here: the right harness for your vehicle.

  • Order by exact model year and engine. Harnesses are specific, and a 2015–2023 Tacoma unit is not a 2024+ unit.
  • It only works on drive-by-wire (electronic throttle) vehicles.
  • Start in a middle mode and adjust sensitivity from there. Eco softens response; Sport+ is the most aggressive.
  • Install runs about 15 minutes with no cutting or splicing.
  • Prefer your phone to the in-cab unit? The free Bluetooth app for iOS and Android changes modes and sensitivity without reaching for the dash.

Pedal Commander warranty

Pedal Commander backs its units with a two-year limited warranty and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Defective units are repaired, or replaced if they can't be, for original buyers from authorized sellers; resale, abuse or unauthorized repair voids it.
