About Hondo Garage

Wiley Davis started Hondo Garage in 2012 with a benchtop CNC and a hacksaw in an 80-square-foot unheated garage. A successful Kickstarter for a camera follow-focus tool paid for a real shop, and a small Montana team now designs and machines metal device mounts.

The lineup includes the Perfect Squeeze phone mount, Big Squeeze tablet mount, no-drill Un-Holey dash mounts and motorcycle bar mounts. The idea is buy-it-for-life hardware: serviceable, with replacement parts sold for the bits that wear.

What we carry from Hondo Garage

Our Hondo selection lives mostly in phone and tablet mounts: vehicle-specific phone and tablet bundles, Un-Holey dash mounts, the Universal Death Grip bundle, The Spinster, 1" RAM-style balls and accessories, and replacement power pucks, gripper posts and threaded wings.

Dash mounts fit the Toyota Tacoma (2nd and 3rd gen), 2014–2021 Toyota Tundra, and Jeep Wrangler JL and Jeep Gladiator JT. We also carry Hondo's Tacoma radio knobs, phone cord clips and motorcycle bar mounts (Bar Tab II, Enduro Mount and bar clamps).

How to choose

Start with the device, then the vehicle. Most mounting questions answer themselves once you measure your phone or tablet in its case.

Perfect Squeeze holds phones up to 4" wide; Big Squeeze holds devices 1.5"–10" wide. Both take up to about 0.75" thick, case included.
Un-Holey dash mounts clamp to the lip inside the vent ring, so nothing gets drilled. The Tacoma version also fits the 2014–2021 Tundra.
Dash mounts use the AMPS hole pattern, so 2- or 4-hole RAM-style balls bolt right on.
The Bar Tab replaces a motorcycle handlebar clamp bolt. It's not for vehicle grab bars.

Hondo Garage warranty

Hondo's non-electronic products carry a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, and electronics are covered for 1 year. The warranty follows the product if you sell or give it away; second owners need the original order number or proof of purchase. Where are Hondo Garage mounts made?

What is the Hondo Garage warranty?

Lifetime coverage against defects on non-electronic products such as mounts and hardware, and 1 year on electronics. The warranty transfers with the product.

Will my phone fit in a Hondo mount with its case on?

Usually, yes. Perfect Squeeze holds devices up to 4 inches wide and Big Squeeze 1.5 to 10 inches wide, both up to about 0.75 inch thick including the case.

Do I have to drill my dash for an Un-Holey mount?

No. The Un-Holey mount clamps behind the vent ring with a large backing plate that spreads the load, so no holes are needed.

Can I use RAM arms with Hondo Garage mounts?

Yes. Hondo mounts use the AMPS hole pattern, so RAM-style balls and other AMPS accessories bolt on.

What happens if I crash and break my Hondo mount?

Crash damage isn't covered by the warranty, but Hondo can send rebuild parts with instructions or refurbish the mount with free labor.
