Goose Gear FAQs
Where is Goose Gear made?
Goose Gear designs and builds its systems in Grand Junction, Colorado, and about 80% of its parts come from North America.
Do I have to drill my vehicle to install a Goose Gear plate system?
Rear plates and seat-delete plates use the vehicle's existing threaded inserts and need no drilling. Truck bed plates need minor drilling to mount to the bed.
How long does a Goose Gear order take?
Everything is built to order. NVMOS currently estimates about 10 weeks for most products, about 8 weeks for some base plates and about 12 weeks for drawer modules, with an expedited option of about 4 weeks for an extra fee.
What is a Goose Gear plate system?
It's the vehicle-specific base panel that drawers, CampKitchens, fridge slides and sleeping platforms attach to, with pre-drilled points for anchors and straps.
Does Goose Gear make camper shell interiors?
Yes. It builds utility modules, drawer modules and bed plates for Alu-Cab canopies and for its own Goose Gear Camper System.
What warranty does Goose Gear offer?
Goose Gear doesn't publish a written warranty. Defects are resolved directly with Goose Gear by the original purchaser, with proof of purchase.
