About Diabolical Inc

Diabolical Inc was started by Alan Huggett, who spent more than 30 years working on military and corporate aircraft, beginning with the F-15 Eagle in the US Air Force. He wanted aviation-grade fit, finish and materials in his own vehicles and couldn't find them, so he designed his own. The first was the Slipstream, his take on an aircraft's aft baggage compartment: light, multi-use, safe and secure.

The company is veteran- and family-owned and builds its products in Herriman, Utah. Several Slipstream designs are patented.

What we carry from Diabolical

Lockable enclosures and rear cargo storage (Slipstream, Ridgeback, Locker and Stage), slide floors and vehicle drawer systems, overhead storage like visor shelves and decks, and Slipstream accessories including MOLLE panels, raised tops, rail racks and deck mats.

Fitment covers the Jeep Wrangler (YJ, TJ, LJ, JK, JKU, JL, JLU and 4xe), Jeep Gladiator, Ford Bronco, Ineos Grenadier, Toyota 4Runner and Mercedes Sprinter.

How to choose

  • Match the exact model and years. JL Slipstreams differ for 2018-2023 and 2024-up, and many Jeep kits differ by subwoofer setup.
  • Decide on the rear seats. Lockers and Stages keep them in; most 2-door Slipstreams, Ridgebacks and the Bronco Clyde need them out.
  • Want the best fit and coverage? Slipstream. Want the folding top and wall for less? Ridgeback.
  • Accessories like drawer tops, slide trays and raised-top trays are add-ons, so check what they require before ordering.

Lead times & shipping

Custom Bronco 2-door builds, the Clyde slide floor and the Bronco 2-door Ridgeback, have a 4-6 week lead time listed by Diabolical. Slipstreams and heavier items ship by FedEx, and FedEx requires a signature for shipments over $500. Inspect the package, note damage when you sign, and report it within 48 hours. See current lead times for the latest.

Diabolical Inc FAQs

What is a Diabolical Slipstream?

A lockable cargo-area security enclosure with a steel frame, a folding top and a removable wall, built to fit a specific vehicle so your gear stays locked and out of sight when the top and doors are off.

What's the difference between the Slipstream, Ridgeback and Locker?

The Slipstream is the full, body-hugging enclosure. The Ridgeback is a simpler, lower-cost enclosure that keeps a folding, removable top and wall. The Locker is a smaller box for 2-door Jeeps and Broncos that works with the rear seats in place.

Do I have to drill my vehicle?

Almost never. Diabolical enclosures and slide floors mount at factory points such as D-ring and cargo bolt locations. The spin lever retro kits and some MOLLE panel installs on older tops are the exceptions.

Where are Diabolical products made?

In Herriman, Utah. Diabolical is veteran- and family-owned, and its founder spent more than 30 years in military and corporate aviation.

How do Diabolical orders ship?

Slipstreams and heavier items ship by FedEx, and FedEx requires a signature on anything over $500. Inspect the box, note any damage when you sign, and report shipping damage within 48 hours.

What does the warranty cover?

If a product has a manufacturer's defect, Diabolical replaces the defective part or, if needed, the whole unit. See our Diabolical Inc warranty summary for the details.
