What's covered
- Defects in products Bestop verifies as not meeting its standards, for the original purchaser named on the proof of purchase
- Replacement of the defective product, shipped to the address on the claim
- The correct part, sent as soon as possible, when the wrong item was packed in the box
What's not covered
- Labor to remove, repair or reinstall any item
- Misuse, abuse, accidents, vandalism, negligence, fire, improper installation, modification or improper maintenance, including home cleaning products, car washes, off-roading and garage damage
- Not following the instructions or applicable law, and use in extreme conditions
- Breakage of any kind, such as pulling into a garage with the top open or an object hitting the product
- Vinyl windows damaged by misuse, cold cracking, folding or fogging
- Damage caused by or to aftermarket and third-party parts used with Bestop products
- Natural disasters and other events a full-coverage vehicle insurance policy would cover
- Normal wear and tear
- Products bought on auction or bid sites, and closeout, open-box or used items from third-party sellers
- Transfer to a later owner, including products that came with a vehicle
- Refunds on the original purchase for parts received under warranty, and import fees, taxes or duties
How to make a Bestop warranty claim
- Register the product with Bestop; claims are only accepted on registered products, and registration supplies your proof of purchase.
- Take photos before starting the claim, including the outside of the vehicle, the damaged area or hardware and the attachment points.
- Submit the claim form on Bestop's warranty page within 30 days of finding the defect, with up to 8 photos.
- Keep the confirmation email and case number; reply to it only to change the shipping address or send more photos.
- Report shipping damage or missing parts within 30 days of delivery, with photos and proof of purchase.
