About Roll-N-Lock

Roll-N-Lock Corporation is a Florida company whose covers are assembled in Pompano Beach, and it is now part of RealTruck, which handles its catalog, warranty registration and claims. The whole line is built around one idea: a cover that rolls up into a canister at the front of the bed and locks shut, so the bed is either fully open or secured.

The M-Series is the manual cover with a vinyl skin over aluminum slats and a pull strap, and the M-Series XT adds two T-slot rails for crossbars and accessories. The A-Series uses double-layer aluminum slats with a powder-coated finish, and the E-Series puts an electric motor in the canister with a key fob and an auto-stop. The manual covers lock the tailgate when closed and latch at three positions, so you can leave part of the bed open for tall cargo. The trade-off with any retractable is the canister, which takes up some room at the front of the bed.

What we carry from Roll-N-Lock

We carry Roll-N-Lock's M-Series and M-Series XT manual retractable covers, the A-Series and A-Series XT covers and the E-Series electric cover, along with the Cargo Manager rolling bed divider for trucks that already run a Roll-N-Lock cover. Every cover is built to a specific model year range, bed length and, on some trucks, bed option, and we list them for the Toyota Tacoma and Tundra, Ford Ranger, F-150, Maverick and Super Duty, Chevrolet Silverado and Colorado, GMC Sierra and Canyon, Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500, Jeep Gladiator and Nissan Frontier. Watch the listing notes for factory bed tracks, RamBox, swing-gate tailgates, Carbon Pro beds and the Gladiator Trail Rail system, since those change which cover fits.

How to choose

Manual, XT or electric: The M-Series is the simple manual cover, and the XT version adds T-slot rails that take most T-slot crossbars and accessories, with the cross rails sold separately. The E-Series opens with a key fob and carries five years instead of three, but it needs some wiring at install.

Measure the bed and check options: Roll-N-Lock builds each cover to a bed length and model year range, and factory bed tracks, RamBox, a swing-gate tailgate or a Carbon Pro bed can call for a different part. Measure inside the bed and match the notes on the listing before you order.

Leaks are not a warranty claim: The covers use seals and drain tubes to move water out, but Roll-N-Lock excludes water intrusion, including leaks in normal use. Do not plan on a retractable keeping a bed completely dry.

Mind the cold: Damage from temperatures below -30 F or above 120 F is excluded. In a Wisconsin winter, clear snow and ice before you try to open the cover.

Keep it on the original truck: Coverage ends if the cover comes off the vehicle it was installed on or the truck is sold. If you plan to move it to your next truck, know that the warranty stays behind.

Lead times & shipping

NVMOS dropships every Roll-N-Lock order from the brand or its distributor. In-stock parts usually leave in 1-3 business days, and parts stocked at the manufacturer take about 1-2 weeks. Retractable covers ship in long, heavy boxes; most go by parcel carrier, and an occasional cover ships by truck freight, which can add a few days and may need someone home to receive it. Inspect the box at delivery and photograph any damage before you sign. We send tracking as soon as we have it.

Roll-N-Lock warranty

Roll-N-Lock warrants its covers and cargo management products to the original purchaser against manufacturing defects in normal use, for three years from purchase on A-Series and M-Series covers and five years on E-Series covers; the M-Series XT and Cargo Manager listings show the same three-year term. The product has to come from Roll-N-Lock or an authorized reseller, and coverage ends if it is removed from the original vehicle or the vehicle changes hands. Roll-N-Lock repairs or replaces defective parts at no cost, but removal and reinstallation labor is not covered. Exclusions include improper installation, temperatures below -30 F or above 120 F, water intrusion and leaks, misuse, modification, poor maintenance, normal wear, cosmetic damage and fading, accidents and acts of God, non-Roll-N-Lock parts and covers with a removed or defaced serial number. Claims go through the place of purchase or RealTruck's online form, with the receipt and photos, and returns need prior authorization. Read our Roll-N-Lock warranty summary.
