Firestone FAQs
How long is the Firestone air spring warranty?
Firestone air springs carry a limited lifetime warranty for as long as the original buyer owns the vehicle. Hardware, brackets and accessories are covered for 2 years, and compressors for 1 to 2 years depending on the model.
Do air helper springs increase my payload or towing capacity?
No. They level the truck under load, but Firestone says not to exceed the vehicle manufacturer's GVWR.
Do I have to drill to install Ride-Rite?
Firestone lists most Ride-Rite, RED Label and All-In-One applications as no-drill installs. Check the instructions for your specific kit.
What is the difference between Ride-Rite and RED Label?
Ride-Rite fits most half-ton to one-ton trucks with up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity. RED Label targets three-quarter and one-ton trucks with up to 7,500 lbs and a 150 PSI rating.
Is the warranty valid if I bought the kit used or on eBay?
No. Firestone excludes products bought from eBay, Craigslist and other non-dealer sources.
Do I have to send a failed air spring back?
Usually not. Firestone requires product verification, but photos of the failure can be used instead of returning the part.
Who pays labor if an air spring leaks?
The owner. Firestone replaces a defective air spring, but labor and incidental costs are not covered.
