About AlphaRex

AlphaRex designs aftermarket headlights and tail lights for trucks, SUVs and performance cars. The company was founded in June 2018 and is based in Baldwin Park, California. AlphaRex says it designs its lights from scratch, patents its components, and builds them to SAE and DOT requirements in an ISO-certified factory.

The lineup is split into tiers. NOVA-Series headlights are the top tier, built around AlphaRex's Ice Cube 3D projectors. LUXX-Series uses rectangular LED projectors. PRO-Series keeps halogen bulbs in a projector housing for a lower-cost upgrade. On the tail light side, NOVA-Series Prismatic lights use a crystal-style prism lens, and many AlphaRex lights add a startup animation when you unlock the truck.

What we carry from AlphaRex

LED and projector headlights, LED tail lights, third brake lights, DoubleTap dual-color fog lights and the plug-and-play converter harnesses some trucks need to run them.

Fitment covers the Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner, Tundra and Land Cruiser, Ford F-150, Super Duty and Bronco, Ram 1500 and 2500/3500, Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, Jeep Wrangler JL and Lexus GX.

How to choose

  • Pick the tier first. NOVA is the brightest and most detailed, LUXX is full LED at a lower price, and PRO keeps halogen bulbs for the smallest budget.
  • Check what lights your truck has now. Many AlphaRex lights plug straight into halogen trucks, but trucks with factory LED headlights or tail lights often need a converter. When one is needed, it's offered as an option on the listing.
  • Choose a finish. Black, Alpha-Black, Jet Black and Chrome change the housing look; Clear, Smoke and Red describe tail light lenses.
  • Watch for trim notes such as blind spot sensors (BLIS), level adjusters or bumper style. They're called out in each listing's fitment notes.

Lead times & shipping

Most AlphaRex lights ship from US warehouse stock, and in-stock parts typically leave within 24-48 hours. Some items are special order and take longer. Headlights ship in large boxes, so give them a few extra days. See current lead times or call us for a specific part.

AlphaRex warranty

AlphaRex covers its lights with a 2-year manufacturer warranty against defects in design and manufacturing, for the original owner with proof of purchase. Installation errors, modified lights and off-road water submersion aren't covered. Read the full AlphaRex warranty summary.

AlphaRex FAQs

What's the difference between AlphaRex NOVA, LUXX and PRO headlights?

NOVA-Series is AlphaRex's top tier, with Ice Cube 3D LED projectors. LUXX-Series uses rectangular LED projectors powered by AlphaRex's LUXX LEDs. PRO-Series uses halogen bulbs in a projector housing and costs the least.

Are AlphaRex headlights street legal?

AlphaRex states its NOVA and LUXX headlights have a projection cutoff built for US left-hand-drive regulations and meet DOT/SAE requirements.

Do I need a converter to install AlphaRex lights?

It depends on your truck. Many AlphaRex lights plug straight into trucks with halogen lights, while trucks with factory LED headlights or tail lights often need a converter harness. When one is required, the listing offers it as an option.

What does the AlphaRex warranty cover?

Two years against defects in design and manufacturing, for the original owner with proof of purchase. Installation errors, modified lights and water damage from submersion aren't covered. See our AlphaRex warranty summary for details.

Should I use dielectric grease on AlphaRex connectors?

No. AlphaRex specifically says not to use dielectric or any weather-sealing grease on its connectors or sockets. It can cause connection problems that the warranty won't cover.

How fast do AlphaRex lights ship?
