About AJT Design

Adam Truckey started AJT Design in 2014 as a freelance design outfit. In 2015 he 3D printed a key fob case for his own FJ Cruiser, the Toyota off-road crowd noticed, and the shop grew into shift knobs, battery clamps and interior trim. By 2018 it was his full-time business.

AJT still builds in the USA as much as possible, using 3D printing and injection-molded ABS and PC-ABS plastics, with CNC aluminum for the shift knobs. The specialty is the small stuff the factory got almost right.

What we carry from AJT Design

Radio, climate, shift and transfer case knobs; Injection Fob key cases; cup holders and trim rings; console and dash trim and console tray liners; door handle covers; glovebox inlays; and emblem, tailgate spoiler and chrome delete overlays. We also stock AJT's detailing products, like Pink Soap and RVP Dressing, for keeping all that trim clean.

Most of the catalog is for the Toyota Tacoma, Toyota Tundra, 4Runner, Sequoia, FJ Cruiser and Land Cruiser, with some parts for Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator, Chevy/GMC, RAM and Subaru.

How to choose

AJT parts are cut to one generation of one vehicle, so the year range in the title matters more than the color you pick.

• Match the year range exactly. A 2014–2021 Tundra part is not a 2022+ Tundra part, and 2016–2023 Tacoma pieces differ from 2024+.
• Radio knobs are split by screen size, so check whether you have the 8-inch or a larger screen.
• Injection Fob cases are numbered by key style (IF0xx). Match the number to your key, not just your truck.
• Shift knobs come in Long and Short. Long covers more of the chrome shaft, and AJT says Short does not fit the Tacoma or 4th Gen 4Runner.
• Colors named after factory paints may not match exactly. AJT notes some specialty colors need paint for a true match, and it doesn't do custom colors.

Current estimates live on our lead times page; they're estimates, and they change. AJT itself says most in-stock items leave its Michigan shop the same or next business day.

AJT Design warranty
